This will be a different EA opening each position. Please show comments and you should se a different magic number. I believe that the Max Open Position is just for each EA only so if set to 2 then technically for that EA you can get another position if there is a second entry signal but the first position still hasnt closed.

Hi Tung, thats great that you have started. So you can get the most out of this i am going to help guide you through this using hte software. I am assuming that you have started the free trial already for EA Studio?

Here is what I want you to do as a first step:

Set the data period to the most recent 5 years and then import the EA into EA Studio to see its performance. For the GBPUSD EA apply the MACD parameters for each shown above on the M30 and H1 and see what shows the best backtest. Then repeat to check what ones work best on the H1.

This can then be repeated for the other EAs and pairs that you mention.

Doing this exercise will help you get up to speed with EA Studio much faster.

Yes and also even after the 15 day free trial you can keep using EA Studio, you just won’t be able to export to EAs but this is still useful for the purpose you describe so no worries if can’t afford yet 🙂

Also for you information even after free EA studio 15 day trail can still keep using to learn but just can’t export EAs, but this is still very useful to know when getting started.

To Add to this, we don’t provide data from these sources. As Miro says, if you use mt5 to download the broker data and then export that data from mt5 and import into FSBPro. To test whats going on try to make sure the broker data and fsbpro data is identical and then then things should match, huge differences due to different data sources could be a sign of overfitting.

Hi, this may happen in the future but I have just started working with the developer to review and improve the process creating and selecting the EAs shown on the app and we are also investigating some alternative methods to EA selection and management. I believe that these combined changes will make big improvements to the ease in which users are able to make consistent profits. There will be upcoming videos and post to explain further but its high priority 🙂

Hi, this wouldn’t happen if you were just trading this robot so I think there may be a clash happening with others you are trading.

can you check that definately this is the only one with this magic number and also please check the other robots to see is something is activated in them that could be triggering a global protection.

But yes with the inputs you have set for this robot, this should not happen

Hi, this all depends really. If you mean your own manual time then not much since robots trade automatically. If you mean how long until pass, well that cannot be controlled. I’ve had some pass in a couple of months and some in nearly a year but I always have my risk very low.

The prop firm app isn’t currently included but the top 10 app is which can also be used for prop trading. Hi, how long have the EAs been on the account for and how many are there? What period did you back test for and what was the number of trades per week? It may even be worth exporting the backtest as a csv file and then using excel to deterimine the maximum time between trades? It may just be that no open signals have occured? If you provide more details along these lines then I will happily help you troubleshoot this further

I believe that we have also had some recent issues with fxblue and that they are aware and working on fixing this as soon as possible.
