ParticipantHi Petko.
Of course, I see. Well instead of demo trading in MT4 and waiting for that, I wanted to do it in EA Studio instead by just changing the data horizon dates. To be honest I wanted to test your M15 strategy where you replace strategies every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So I wanted to set the date interval in EA Studio to only a couple of days to see if your strategy is in fact profitable and by how much. But the minimum date interval in EA Studio is 300 bars so that makes it difficult to do 🙂

ParticipantUps, I found out that it is because the minimum data bars is set to 300 in the data horizon settings. The field is grayed out so unfortunately I cannot change it.
Sorry for the messages. You can delete the thread if you want.Regards

ParticipantBy the way: In the EA Studio Editor I noticed the following for the example above:
Data start 24/01/2018 13.00
Data end 10/02/2018 00.00Shouldn’t these dates be the same as in the data horizon?
Thanks.Best regards

ParticipantHi Petko.
I see, thanks. I understand your MACD example. Many of the other indicators I don’t really know. So an explanation/list of trending and sideways indicators would still be much appreciated 🙂 Thanks again!
