Please look only at the last link that you have on lecture 13 for your EAs. There is not file with the name 300130601 GBPJPY M5, as you wrote.Anyway for the rest you are right, this is how we name the magic numbers. This is because we test 100s of EAs and we need to have a good system to follow them.
If you are not generating new EAs with any of the softwares, you can simply name the Magic Numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5. No need to follow our system, since you have only 5 EAs.With the scripts they provided me when i bought FSB Pro, i have no more problems with the history data. So easy to drag and have the new data. Love these scrpts, one drag and all is updated.
And since FSB Pro shows precise beck-testing for each strategy – i do not test on demo. Simply when i update the historical data, i see what happened with the strategy and this way i do my out OUT OF SAMPLE. Nice nice so far…Anyway you will have a lot of losses , sometimes profits but most of the times you will end up loosing 🙂 you know these Forex News are for this reason :))
I have updated my course with no problems….its very easy and there is a video now, so now one should have problems with it. All ea fx work great for me so far since i pause on the news..
Honestly said i consider it as professional tool to use if it makes me money. So far i create my portfolio of EAs but i hope, by next month i will be live with good results. Anyway EA Studio is really easy automated Forex trading software and it does a good job

yes this is good idea to change the name of the Slides. I will make sure to do it in the next update.Can you please explain what you mean by:
“I could delete all the EAs, and put the new EAs in their place, but that would not work, if I have changed the levels of TP and SL /or I would need to change them again/.”Dear Mihail, on Vidia EA, please skroll down to the end of the inputs and you will see where is the TP.
Also tomorrow we will update the parameters of the indicators, and you will see the changes in the attached Power Point files
and if you donload the EAs again, the changes will be therewhere it is written in the inputs SL and TP. Delete the values that are written and write the once you like.
Have a look at the picture i have attached.But its a good idea to have the EAs changed as well…what we can do is actually update the EAs and when there is update you can just download the new onces and put them on the platform for trading.
This is because before this strategy was without TP and using Trailing SL only.
For each strategy you have attached Power point sheet with the right parameters
When we update the strategy with the parameters, you will see the change in this attached sheet
So what you need to do is just to make sure that the inputs of Each EA are same as the sheet that is attached to the Strategy

Basically you change the values on the right side.
Have in mind that these values are in points. So this is for example 25 and 75 pips.

thanks for the clarification. You are almost right for all of it. Keep it simple and stop the EAs on important fundamental Forex news.you are right Margaret! And what i see recent years is that the traders go first to any ea builder and then they learn how to analyze the market and actually have an idea about manual trading…before we were teaching first manual trading and then upgrade to automated trading using ea builder. But times are changing…:)
