It is interesting to keep this rule of 3 as you say.

Yes, you are right when the USD is second in the currency pair, and when the dollar is strong for example it will force these pairs to go down, and same on the other side. Now since there are only four pairs where the usd is second – EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD and NZDUSD, I sue it a starting point to figure out the other pairs where the USD is always first.

I realized that when I used the indicator from Petko that shows which is the best currency pair to trade at every moment, it was called FPSM meter I think. Very useful one in manual trading, but now with algorithmic trading I believe it is all about good choice of currency pairs, proper work with EA studio, and good analysis of the generated EAs.

thank you so much for giving me some power to step on my feet with trading. I will do my best to follow your advises! Petko you are the man in educating people! I wish I have found you earler.

Jacpin, you are so kind too! It is great for me to see other;s success. This way I believe that I can do it too.

Now I will focus on testing the EAs from the courses, and creating my own. I do not have the capability to open live account again, because I do not want to trade with anything less than 10k. So I am planning to spend my time creating and testing EAs as you say.

Yes, i know it is great to avoid the emotions and not to look over the chart every 2 min, watching how the price goes against you. I realize how better is trading with Expert Advisors.

Jacpin, may I ask you how long time are you testing the EAs on Demo before placing them on live account?

Hey David,

I am not sure if I get your question exactly, but if you are asking if using a desktop computer would cause issues in transactions, the answer is No.

The latency or speed of execution comes from the broker and not from us. The broker is the one standing between and the real market.

Once we are connected to the server of the broker, whenever there is an order the Broker is obliged to execute it immediately. And if there is some delay it is because of the broker, not because of us or where we have the platform, on Forex VPS, on a desktop or computer.

You are right about the cryptos, there is bigger volatility when it falls now. Unlike the people who have bought on exchanges, we can actually profit with the EAs when the price falls.

Yes, you are right. We should not pause the EAs before the Red Hot news when we do trading session with Expert Advisors.

Actually the most important for me is that when we generate the EAs we put the whole trading session and we ignore the news. As Thetrader says they do not repeat daily, and we can not implement that in the Historical data.

I would not have in mind the news if I am using the trading session hours. As you said the interval will be too small.

Petko, I really can not believe your trading courses are so cheap! What you provide is something really precious! Your trading courses are so much different from what is all around (I have taken several and all is about these patters, and candle sticks formations – I am glad that you do not have even one course about such fundamentally useless things). I do not know how people expect to make profit with doji or Head and Shoulders…

Well, I am sure that you know how different are your trading courses, and I am sure you make your best to make them the way the are, but I just can’t figure it out why something so good is so cheap!

I am getting better with EA Studio and all the cryptocurrency Expert Advisors I started to develop. Even you know I am a fan of the Forex, but now because the crypto is a dead stone, I do believe the good volatility will bring us better profits.

Hello Jacpin,

I am very surprised to see you have so much data with your broker? I have been collecting Historical data from my broker nearly 9 months and on M15 I am just below 100 00 bars…do you collect the data as Petko says by pressing the Home key and after that dropping the script he provides in the courses? Or you download the data from the History center of the Meta Trader?

I am a fan of the major pairs that have lowest spread. Currently I see most profit in one of my portfolios where I have:

EURUSD
EURGBP

USDJPY
GBPJPY

This way I have equal exposure to each currency. And foe each one I have 2 EAs on H1 and M15. So totally I have 16 EAs into the account.
I do not know if I succeeded to make like really good EAs, or it is just moment of 2 and half months where they work well..could be as well from the spread.
Also, when I use EA Studio I round the spread to the higher number so after that when they actually trade, it is with lower spread.

I remember Petko said in some of the lectures that the spread could really effect the results, so I aim at those that have small spread.

Hey David, I am happy I could assist you with this. Just take it easy, you can start Forex VSP where you can place your Expert Advisors but if you are looking in trading in longer term, you can start with a normal desktop computer(normally cheaper than the Laptop), and you can place the 3-4 Meta Trader platforms which is totally enough for beginning.

I say desktop computer because it is easier to keep it connected to the internet all the time. When people use laptops they always move it, take it away on travel, or do not keep it with the charger. All these interruptions to the internet effect the performance of the Expert Advisors. This is where having a dedicated Forex VPS comes useful, but as said above a Desktop computer would work just fine.

Hey Viktor,

glad to hear you have your enthusiasm in trading back. Try to ignore the trading results you had before. I can share with you that most of the students joining the Academy is after having losses. Nearly everyone starts trading without any kind of education.

And actually the enthusiasm should be used in hard work with EA Studio and the Expert Advisors and not in trading. Emotions should not be there in trading! Trading automated EA Forex is one of the key points to ignore the emotions.
