Hi David,
I am using basic Forex VPS with 4 course and 8 Ram + SSD. Sometimes it gets a bit slow, but I do not think it causes problems with the execution of the trades. Just when I have many charts opened, and i click over each, it delays…I asked Petko, he said it is normal.
Now I started looking at desktops as I have calculated that it is a better investment, and I will have fully control over it.

I see now you are in the US, aren’t you? There is the FIFO violation if you trade with many EAs with same lots. It is not like you are breaking the rules or something, this is just how US brokers work.
Basically you are not able to trade more than one Expert Advisor for one currency pair in one account. The rule stands exactly as they wrote to you, that you should close first your older trade.
There are many traders in the US complaining about this FIFO violation rule, but that comes from the regulations in the country, and the legit brokers must follow it. I am not really the man who will comment it if they decided that this is good, then it is 🙂

This is something from the broker…the margin is basically the free capital you have int he account to open new positions. How big is your account and what is the leverage you are suing. But whatever it is 0.1 should not be a problem.
Are you using the same broker as last month? The EAs are just the same…

Hey Jordy,
Glad to hear from you again. The whole process will be automated one day with certainty. We had couple of meetings with Forex Software discussing how the process could be automated effectively. Of course it will take time…I do not know when and exactly how it will be, but I know that if it happens we will be the first ones to use it 🙂
Anyway, years ago there was no even generator, and the only way was to hire developers.

thank you so much for the replay! This gives me some good starting point. I like that you have exact rules. Petko says that this is important in algorithmic trading.
How do you calculate the winning percentage? Do you transform somehow the Profit factor?
Thank you, Petko! The balance chart of this strategy looks like really great! So far I did not succeed to make such a strategy with such equity. The EA is on the Meta Trader already. Also, I exported the one from Halifa.
It is really awesome to be part of this forum, the Academy, it is so much to learn every day!
Jacpin, It is great to have plans, I am still fighting with the present, but I believe when profits are there it will get easier.
I remember once Petko in the lectures said that it is enough to trade only the EURUSD if we make good diversification on different strategies and different time frames. And I see that on his Top 10 EURUSD strategies, because I keep them on Demo now, and some and long, some are short and out of the 10 I averagely have 6-7 profiting which is great. Hope I will have the money soon to place some in real account.
Great topic here. Somehow I have missed the recent posts. So far I am paying for VPS too, I will think about going on desktop computer and placing it all there. I do believe with more powerful one I will be bale to run all of the 4 Meta Traders that I have currently on the VPS.

Hey Jacpin, thanks for the replay. The home key procedure you should do it on all time frames, and not just on D1, shouldn’t you? This way load the bars on all time frames. If it is not a secret, which is the broker you are using? I would like to have a look at it, and if the spreads are good may be switch there. Mine is fine but I have the half data of yours. Only do not place links for the broker, because they will remove it.
