ParticipantThe code generated by EA Studio or FSBpro is 100% accurate, you do not need to modify it.

ParticipantI would recommend increasing the historical data to see if this fixes your problem!
Alan Northam
ParticipantWhen the EA was created it was not backtested before 2023, as a result, it might not backtest well before 2023.

ParticipantHappy to hear you got it working!

ParticipantNo, you do not need to make adjustments. The EA closes trades when its indicators signal a trade closure or the SL or TP is hit.

ParticipantDo you have sufficient historical data?

ParticipantThe FTMO EA placed another trade today about one hour ago:
Alan Northam
ParticipantHow much historical data do you have?
Alan Northam
ParticipantThis error message means your terminal is trying to execute more than one trade at the same time. Do you have other EA’s running on the same terminal for EURUSD? If not, then I would close the terminal and reopen it and try again.

ParticipantFTMO demo account Strategy Tester shows today’s trade:

ParticipantThe settings are correct and you should see trades when they develop. On my FTMO demo account I just got a new trade about 3 hours ago.
Alan Northam
ParticipantI have not seen a trade yet either. In my backtesting using FSBpro the last trade was made last Friday. The backtest shows an average of one trade per day. So I am expecting to see a trade develop anytime now. Patience!

ParticipantMT4 and MT5 settings are the same. Are you backtesting using Strategy Tester? What is your account size and lot size? Over what period of time are you backtesting? Please show a screenshot!
Alan Northam
ParticipantYour longer backtest was outside the backtest period in which the EA was developed. Hence the poor results. The more current backtest results are correct.

ParticipantMy backtest shows a good balance lineup until May 1. After that, the balance line moves sideways in a large trading range. Petko says this is normal. I would expect the balance line to start moving higher again in the near future. I would not start a new FTMO Challenge until the balance line starts to move higher again. I would start an FTMO demo account. Once the demo account starts to show steady profit then I would consider starting a new challenge.
